Sokoine University of Agriculture: The Department of Cop Science and Horticulture offers agriculture related courses as BSc Agriculture General, BSc Horticulture, Bachelor of Crop Production and Management, MSc Crop Science (with specialisation on Crop Improvement, Agronomy and Horticulture), MSc Plant Protection, Master of Seed Technology and Business, PhD in Agroecology and PhD courses in Agriculture with different research specialisation. Despite this, there is a lack of controlled environments for plant pathology experiments and laboratory facilities for diagnostics. The need for high-throughput phenotyping is very important in disease screening and identification in the current era. Sharing online materials developed with other experts is needed to training processes and delivery of knowledge to students and other stakeholders.
